Sheridan Maine is excited to partner with an established accountancy practice in the Harrow area to recruit a Senior Accountant. You will manage a diverse client portfolio and deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services, building strong client relationships and providing value-added insights.

The role focuses on year-end and management accounts, tax compliance, VAT, and ensuring deadlines are met in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience preparing accounts for a variety of clients.
• Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients (limited companies, sole traders, partnerships).
• Prepare management accounts and financial information.
• Assist with tax compliance and general accounting matters.
• Prepare VAT returns and other financial submissions.
