Qualifications

• Have solid experience within an accountancy practice, with the technical ability to manage a broad range of accounts and tax work.
• ACA or ACCA qualification would be ideal, although candidates with relevant practice experience who are part-qualified or qualified by experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for a portfolio of clients and overseeing their on-going accounting and compliance requirements
• Producing statutory accounts and financial statements
• Preparing tax calculations and returns
• Assisting with management reporting, VAT and other accounting assignments as required
• Building productive client relationships and providing clear, practical support on accounting matters
• Investigating queries and resolving issues to keep assignments moving efficiently
• Sharing technical knowledge and offering guidance to less experienced members of the team where appropriate
