Job summary

Reed Practice, in partnership with a well-respected independent accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager to join their expanding team. You will handle complex financial reporting, consolidations, and advisory work for medium-sized to larger groups, with flexible hybrid or fully remote working options across the UK.

You'll support a portfolio of corporate clients, supervise junior staff, and contribute to high-quality statutory accounts, tax compliance, and advisory

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA qualification, with post-qualified experience (or newly qualified with strong relevant experience)
• Essential: Strong knowledge of CCH Accounts Production
• Experience working with medium and large businesses, group structures and complex accounts assignments

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for medium-sized companies, larger entities and groups
• Producing complex multi-entity & multi-currency consolidations
• Researching & resolving technical accounting issues, documenting findings and advice
• Manage corporate tax & VAT compliance, supported by specialist colleagues
• Building strong client relationships through regular communication and consulting ideas
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and helping develop their skills
