Responsibilities

Manage the affairs of your own portfolio of clients, acting as the first point of contact for all financial and compliance matters.
Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts, company financial statements, and sole trade accounts.
Review and prepare corporation tax returns and assist with annual filings for clients.
Have a strong understanding of financial statements, disclosures, corporation tax, and personal tax, and be actively involved in annual personal tax filings.
Liaise with clients regarding deadlines and other requirements, ensuring timely delivery of all services, including Accounts, Tax, VAT, Payroll, and Company Secretarial work.
Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information and build strong, trusted relationships.
Assist clients with ad hoc financial and tax-related queries, including interpreting financial results and advising on internal systems and controls.
Support clients in the setup and development of accounting systems, including implementation of suitable accounting software.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
