Job summary

Vanrath is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for a 12-month contract in Northern Ireland. The role reports to senior management within a well-established organisation known for stability and growth, offering a hybrid working model and a salary of £60,000 - £70,000.

The successful candidate will lead the finance team (AP, AR & Banking), manage financial reporting across the division, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CCAB or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Contribute to process improvements and financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
