Job summary

Page Personnel in North Yorkshire is seeking a Senior Accountant to join an expanding practice and support growth. You will manage your own client portfolio and prepare complex financial statements while maintaining a healthy, friendly culture.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified, proactive, organized, confident, and self-motivated. The role offers a permanent contract with a competitive benefits package including flexible working, study support and regular social events.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification required.
• Proactive and organised with strong communication.
• Ability to manage portfolio and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and take responsibility for own portfolio of clients.
• Prepare and review complex company financial statements.
• Prepare and review interim management accounts.
• Prepare and review personal and partnership tax returns.
• Review and submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Forecasts and business projections (not essential).
• Attend client meetings with directors and business owners.
• Train staff and allocate duties.

Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Prepare and review of interim management accounts
• Prepare and review of personal tax returns
• Prepare and review of partnership accounts and returns
• Review and submit quarterly VAT returns
• Forecasts and business projections - not essential

• Train members of staff and allocate duties
