Job summary

A financial services firm in Stevenage is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant aspiring to become a Senior Accountant. The role involves handling quarterly VAT Returns, payroll management, and preparing accounts for various business structures. Applicants should have over 4 years of accountancy experience and be ACCA qualified. Competitive compensation with a clear progression path will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Complete quarterly VAT Returns and manage Payroll.
• Prepare accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
• Conduct other ad hoc tasks including P11D's and Management Accounts.
• Use of accountancy software such as Iris, Sage and Xero

This is a great opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant who is looking for a opportunity to become a Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Quarterly VAT Returns and Payroll


• Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders Partnerships and Limited Companies


• Other ad hoc work, e.g. preparation of P11D's Management Accounts and Companies House submission


• Literate in Microsoft Word and Excel and experience of using accountancy packages such as Iris, Sage and Xero is essential


• Knowledge of current PAYE regulations beneficial
