Job summary

Blusource Finance Limited in Peterborough is recruiting a Senior Accountant for an established accountancy firm. Flexible on level; Semi-Senior or Assistant Manager candidates may be considered.

The role offers hybrid working—2 days a week from home—and is open to part-time or full-time applicants. You will prepare and review statutory accounts, assist with personal tax, oversee bookkeeping and VAT, mentor juniors, and support business development.

Qualifications

• Experience in statutory accounts and tax compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders per FRS102 and UK standards, including CT returns.
• Assist with personal tax compliance matters and identify planning opportunities.
• Review bookkeeping and VAT returns prepared by junior team members.
• Support clients with general advice and software questions.
• Manage budgets and deadlines across the business.
• Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and business development.
• Mentor, train, and review the work of junior team members.

Due to growth and expansion, our client, a leading accountancy firm are actively recruiting for a Senior accountant based in Peterborough. The firm are flexible on the level they hire at and may consider applicants from a Semi-Senior or Assistant Manager grade.
