Job summary

Insite Group is recruiting an Accounts Senior to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, spanning limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and personal tax clients. You will review statutory accounts under FRS 102 and IFRS, deliver management accounts and tax returns, and provide business advice on growth and restructuring.

The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA qualified with around two years' post-qualification experience, a client-focused communicator, and keen to progress as the firm

Qualifications

• Must be ACA/ACCA qualified with solid practice experience across accounts and tax.
• Two years post-qualification experience preferred.
• Strong grasp of UK accounting standards, tax regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client, a well-established and growing general practice accountancy firm, is looking to add an Accounts Senior to their team. The firm offers a full range of accounting, tax and advisory services to a broad client base, from owner-managed businesses through to larger corporates, partnerships and individuals across a wide mix of sectors, and this role offers a clear route to progress further within the practice.

You'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio spanning limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and personal tax clients, managing deadlines and helping the wider team priorities effectively. Day to day, this includes preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and IFRS, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and corporation tax returns, and self-assessment tax returns. You'll also deliver tailored business advice on tax planning, financial strategy, growth and restructuring, build strong client relationships as a trusted point of contact, support the development of junior team members, and help keep the firm ahead on accounting technology and internal process improvements.

You'll be ACA or ACCA qualified with solid, broad-based practice experience across accounts and tax. Ideally you'll have around two years' post-qualification experience, a strong grasp of UK accounting standards, tax regulations and compliance, and be a confident, client-focused communicator. Above all, you'll be ambitious, this role is built for someone who wants to progress quickly as the firm continues to grow.
