Job summary

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a friendly and long-established independent accountancy practice in the recruitment of a Client Manager. This is a hands-on role where you will manage your own portfolio within a close-knit team, with ownership of client relationships and onboarding of new clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts, personal tax, VAT, CIS, and bookkeeping, plus the ability to mentor junior staff and work across cloud-based

• Experience across accounts, personal tax, VAT, bookkeeping, and CIS.
• Organised, approachable, and hands-on in your working style.

• Manage a client portfolio, primarily sole traders and limited companies.
• Prepare and review accounts, personal tax returns, VAT, CIS, bookkeeping, and MTD requirements.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong long-term relationships.
• Support onboarding of new clients and oversee client billing.
• Manage and support a small team of junior staff.
• Work across cloud-based accounting software platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on practice professional to manage their own portfolio while working within a close-knit team environment. The role would suit either an experienced Client Manager or a Senior Accountant who can hit the ground running and is looking to take on a diverse portfolio.
