Our client, a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants, is looking to recruit a new Accounts Senior to their expanding Hartlepool office. As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients from various business sectors and offering these clients statutory and management accounts preparation, as well as bookkeeping and VAT work of the highest standard.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing a medium-sized client portfolio and liaising with clients regularly
• Preparing statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
• Preparing management accounts
• Performing bookkeeping and VAT work
• Reviewing the work of junior staff, as well as training and developing these staff

Skills

• ACCA/ACA Part or Fully Qualified, AAT, or QBE
• Strong experience working within a firm of Chartered Accountants is essential
