Job summary

Infiniium Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in a financial reporting capacity on a 12-month maternity cover. You will engage in month-end and year-end processes and interact with senior finance stakeholders in a hybrid working setup.

Key tasks include managing reporting cycles, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reporting and consolidation support, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualified with around 2 years post-qualification experience in financial reporting.
• Solid grasp of UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience of month-end close, reconciliations and management reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP and reporting systems.
• Clear communicator, able to explain numbers to non-finance colleagues.
• Exposure to group consolidations or multi-entity reporting.
• Experience supporting external audit.
• Familiarity with reporting or consolidation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycle, including preparation of management accounts.

Our client is a leading global IT / Tech firm who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join it's finance team in a financial reporting capacity. This is an initial 12-month contract to cover maternity with a strong potential route to a permanent position for the right person. The role offers exposure to month-end and year-end processes, and the chance to work closely with senior finance stakeholders in a hybrid environment.

Person specification

• ACA or ACCA qualified with around 2 years’ post-qualification experience in financial reporting in or out of practice having trained in a mid-tier practice (audit or financial reporting background)
