A reputable accountancy practice in Cleckheaton is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a varied client base. This role involves preparing year-end accounts, personal and corporation tax computations, and liaising with clients. The ideal candidate is preferably fully qualified (ACA, CA, ACCA) or part qualified, with strong experience in UK general practice. Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Preparing personal and corporation tax computations and returns.
• Assisting Partners or Senior Managers with ad hoc project work for clients.
• Liaising with clients over their accounts and queries.
• Reporting directly to a Partner or Senior Manager, with access to a team of accounts staff.
• Delegating work where appropriate to provide valuable practical training opportunities.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant role include:

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders (mainly limited companies)
• Preparing personal and corporation tax computations and returns
• Assisting Partners or Senior Managers with ad hoc project work for clients
• Liaising with clients over their accounts and queries
• Reporting directly to a Partner or Senior Manager, with access to a team of accounts staff to support assignments
• Delegating work where appropriate to provide valuable practical training opportunities
