Blanco Niño is a rapidly growing, award-winning, premium Mexican food brand known for exceptional quality, traditional cooking methods and its advocacy and trailblazing of regenerative farming practices.
The business sells a foodservice (B2B) offering across 19 European markets and a retail (B2B + B2C) offering in 5 European markets. The major focus markets are the UK and Ireland for the retail offering, with significant opportunity across the European continent for business expansion utilizing the existing distribution network. There is also a small D2C revenue stream from the company website.
Blanco Niño's mission statement is "To produce Mexican food products that make us proud and accelerate the transition to generative farming in the process".
The business is in a high growth phase with sales almost doubling year on year. Blanco Niño launched into retail in 2023, and this is an exciting time to join the business due to being in high growth with multiple opportunities to unlock.
Position Summary:
This role will be instrumental in shaping the next stage of growth for Blanco Niño, increasing our physical availability across the UK and helping Blanco Niño become a household brand. You will have a hunter approach with a growth mindset to grow existing business and secure new opportunities within Wholesale, High Street, Independence, Convenience, Airlines, and Food To Go. Utilizing existing formats within Tortilla Chips, new formats, and NPD across multiple categories in Ambient and Chilled. The role will require you to travel around the UK to build strong relationships, with a base at our head office in London.
The current team is made up of a Head of Sales, and we are hiring a Grocery NAM and a Head of Food Service. You will be reporting into the Head of Sales, and collectively as a team, you are responsible for driving the highly ambitious growth.
