The business sells a foodservice (B2B) offering across 19 European markets and the Middle East, and a retail (B2B + B2C) offering in 5 European markets. The major focus markets are the UK and Ireland for retail, with significant opportunities for expansion across Europe using the existing distribution network. There is also a small D2C revenue stream via the company website.
Blanco Niño's mission is "To produce Mexican food products that make us proud and accelerate the transition to generative farming in the process."
The business is in a high growth phase, with sales almost doubling year on year. Blanco Niño launched into retail in 2023, making this an exciting time to join due to the multiple growth opportunities.
Position Summary:
This role is pivotal in shaping Blanco Niño's next growth phase by increasing physical availability across the UK and helping the brand become household. You will adopt a proactive approach to grow existing business and secure new opportunities within Wholesale, High Street, Independent, Convenience, Airlines, and Food To Go sectors. This includes leveraging existing formats within Tortilla Chips, developing new formats, and NPD across Ambient and Chilled categories. The role requires UK travel, with a base at our London head office.
The current team comprises a Head of Sales; we are hiring a Grocery NAM and a Head of Food Service. You will report to the Head of Sales and collectively drive ambitious growth.
