Job summary

LANXESS UK is seeking a Sales Manager to work remotely, covering the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for the full range of products within the BU, including acids and catalysts, across markets such as coatings, crop science, pharma, and fuel additives.

This role reports to the Business Unit Manager (UK/Ireland) and focuses on growing market share through market knowledge and strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct customer relationship management, negotiating and communicating both internally and externally.
• Experience in any of the relevant markets is essential to understand the nuances and interconnection of our chemical industry.
• The applications and chemistry can be learnt, the personality and ability to communicate with a variety of people at a range of hierarchy cannot.

LANXESS UK is now recruiting a Sales Manager to work remotely covering UK & Ireland!

About the role!

We are looking for a new Sales manager to join the UK team. Responsible for the full range of products within the BU (mainly Acids, Cresols, Polyols and Metallic Catalysts) covering a number of markets (including coatings and resins, Crop Science, pharma, fuel additives) nationally across the UK and Ireland region.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager (UK / Ire) your key responsibilities are to support, maintain and grow the market share in the UK based on developing market and application knowledge and relationships with all key parties.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing existing and developing new customers
• Staying alert and informed to all market developments and translating into potentials
