London/Manchester, hybrid

This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for clients including eBay, Walmart, and more!

Job Purpose

As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll join a nimble team that jumps in wherever the action is. Instead of being tied to one client, you’ll work across various accounts—ideal for someone who thrives on variety, thinks on their feet, and enjoys solving problems proactively. If you're adaptable, self-sufficient, and great at working with different personalities, you'll feel right at home.

You will build strong client relationships while overseeing the delivery of diverse integrated campaigns. Responsibilities include managing client briefs, planning, assigning, reviewing, and deploying creative work, as well as managing the agency workload in collaboration with the team.

You will work closely with Designers, Copywriters, Developers, and other departments to ensure successful campaign delivery, while maintaining agency profitability and creative integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, draft, and review client briefs
  • Ensure deadlines are met across multiple campaigns and liaise with the Account Director on team capacity
  • Communicate proactively with clients, managing expectations and providing updates or recommendations
  • Translate client feedback effectively to creative teams
  • Prioritize workloads and escalate issues when necessary
  • Meet client requirements while upholding DEPT brand values
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ business, strategies, and challenges; advise on suitable communication solutions to become a trusted adviser
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with key clients through regular meetings and reviews
  • Maintain high standards and add value wherever possible
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, meeting success criteria
  • Stay informed about DEPT products and services, actively promoting them to clients
  • Escalate issues to senior management as needed
  • Collaborate with the team to test creatives across client channels
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience in delivering multi-channel marketing communications, including digital and direct channels like email and banners
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ambitious with strategic thinking and innovative contributions to the agency
  • Ability to work efficiently within short timeframes and meet deadlines
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and improve
  • Personable, approachable, and a motivating team player
  • Moderate understanding of production and interactive processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Ability to develop and manage client and supplier relationships
  • Basic financial understanding to manage budgets effectively
We Offer
  • A flexible, hybrid working policy (2 days in-office, depending on location)
  • Pension, private healthcare, mental health support, and sick pay scheme
  • 26 days paid holiday plus UK Bank Holidays
  • Support for commuting with season ticket loans and cycle-to-work schemes
  • Family-friendly policies for new parents
  • Social and cultural events for team bonding
  • Inspirational talks and guest speakers
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities
  • Buddy programme for onboarding support
  • Recognition as a Certified B Corp since 2021 and awards like ‘Agency of the Year’
  • Work with diverse, global clients across industries
  • Opportunities for skill development, training, and certifications
  • Global DEPT Cares Month supporting local charities
