Role in summary

Supporting a Group Account Director on a recently won client in the drinks industry, you’ll be spearheading the direction and execution of shopper marketing initiatives for a range of brands.

A seasoned account handler, you’ll be focussing on the delivery of innovative campaigns that capture consumers from point of purchase through to wider client services team, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to drive innovative campaigns that captivate consumers at the point of purchase.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Delivering strategic direction to the teams overseeing the delivery of work, demonstrating impact, intellect, and creativity
  • Leading on the execution of high value projects, campaigns and work ensuring they deliver exceptional creativity, strategic thinking and agreed contribution
  • With oversight from the Group Account Director, strategically lead on the clients’ annual brand planning process, identifying gaps where ZEAL can develop avenues to expand contribution, either through new services or access to new categories
  • Work alongside the Group Account Director to identify and drive opportunities to grow your portfolio including contribution, new services, and new categories. This will include having a good working knowledge of ZEAL’s offering and the overall agency business plan
  • Participating in contract negotiations for high value work, partnerships, and collaborations, alongside the Group Account Director and Managing Director
  • Effectively track the efficacy of projects and lead on the creation of case studies that reflect our best work – whether that be creatively or commercially effective - for multi-use purpose including social media, website, creds decks or new business opportunities
  • Leading any direct reports as a coach and guide, championing them and delivering a meaningful PDR programme ensuring they have focused objectives while actively fostering respectful, productive, and supportive working relationships
  • Participate in building the ZEAL brand, profile, and reputation by contributing to PR and social media activities such as writing thought pieces that reflect your expert point of view of our industry
What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Proven experience working as an Account Director or Senior Account Director across drinks/spirits clients or similar
  • Experience managing a brand portfolio in excess of £1m
  • Proven abilities in growing client revenues
  • Innovative, a great idea generator and a strategic thinker concerning brands
  • First-class communicator who can comfortably negotiate and challenge
  • Exceptional financial management skills and commercial acumen
  • Great coach and mentor and an involved team manager
