We’re looking for a Senior Account Director to join the Client Services team and support the business in leading our clients in the world of social media. The role involves ensuring the smooth running and continuous improvement of the teams and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the successful management of all activities on client accounts.
- Managing a client portfolio totaling over £1m per annum, with the aim to grow it.
- Supporting client teams in leading meetings and communications.
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships to encourage retention and scope expansion. Responsible for achieving growth targets.
- Understanding all available agency services and appropriately upselling to clients. Proactively seeking additional client relationships beyond daily contact.
- Identifying new opportunities within existing accounts to facilitate growth and strategic objectives.
- Managing client project budgets, developing budget trackers for ongoing and campaign projects, and reporting as needed.
- Leading new business pitches, from idea creation to presentation, often taking the lead on decks with the new business team.
- Critically evaluating creative work, ensuring it aligns with quality standards and client briefs.
- Leading all client content production, managing shoots with producers, directors, and editors.
- Setting account strategies with support from Coolr’s internal strategy team.
- Line managing Client Services team members, providing support, feedback, objective setting, workload management, and mentorship.
- Collaborating with the Director of Operations and other Account Directors to manage agency resourcing, ensuring suitable workloads and chargeability.
You will be:
- An experienced Senior Account Director/Account Director in a social-first agency.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring timely and budget-compliant work without compromising quality or creativity.
- Solution-focused, bringing creative problem-solving approaches.
- Capable of delivering full project cycles, including timelines, budgets, documentation, and briefs, with high attention to detail.
- Skilled at building strong client relationships based on trust and motivating internal teams.
- Able to manage, track, and negotiate with suppliers and partners to ensure optimal delivery.
- Capable of managing multiple clients and prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
- Knowledgeable about popular culture, social media news, and updates.
- Excellent at communicating at all levels, with strong written and verbal skills.
- Organized, with good administrative and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Workplace.
- Possessing a positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile to meet objectives.
