Job summary

YMCA Trinity Group in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Accommodation Senior Project Worker to lead our supported housing services across Peterborough. You will provide leadership, supervision and practical support to staff, ensuring safety, compliance and positive outcomes for residents, with a focus on housing management and move-on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experienced in supported housing, homelessness, social care or a related sector.
• A confident and effective leader with experience managing, motivating and developing staff teams.
• Knowledgeable in safeguarding, risk management and housing-related support.
• Highly organised and solution-focused, capable of balancing competing priorities while maintaining excellent standards.
• Passionate about making a difference, with a commitment to inclusion, resident empowerment and delivering person-centred services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of support staff, providing supervision, coaching, training and day-to-day operational guidance across multiple accommodation sites.
• Deliver high-quality housing and support services that empower residents to develop independence and achieve positive move-on outcomes.
• Manage accommodation operations, including tenancy management, allocations, voids, property standards, health and safety compliance, and resident wellbeing.
• Work closely with partners and stakeholders, supporting service development, resident engagement, contractual compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
