Job summary

Aldermore is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our Asset Based Lending (ABL) offering across the UK. You will originate high‑value ABL deals and shape complex transactions, building long‑term partnerships with introducers and senior stakeholders in a field‑based role.

You will manage the full sales process, from initial enquiry through onboarding, and deliver clear credit submissions to underwriting.

Qualifications

• Experience originating ABL transactions (£0.5m–£50m).
• Network of introducers across corporate finance, accounting or brokering.
• Strong understanding of ABL structures (receivables, inventory, property).
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with collaboration in mind.

Responsibilities

• Originate new ABL opportunities and deliver new business volumes per growth plans.
• Build and maintain high‑quality relationships with introducers (CF advisers, accountants, brokers).
• Manage full sales process end‑to‑end from enquiry to onboarding.
• Prepare clear credit submissions to support underwriting and approvals.
• Monitor ABL market, pricing trends and risks to stay competitive.
• Collaborate with Risk, Operations and Relationship Management to ensure great customer experiences.
• Uphold conduct standards, TCF requirements and FCA expectations.
