Job summary

TSL in the United Kingdom is seeking a 4D planning specialist to develop and maintain detailed 4D models by integrating schedules with 3D models for logistics buildings and data centres. You will work with design teams and planners to ensure accurate sequencing and contribute to tender demonstrations.

You will also create 4D simulations, support planning with sequencing strategies, and ensure data integrity in line with BIM Level 2+ standards, delivering progress updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in 4D planning within logistical buildings and/or data centres.
• Strong knowledge of BIM Level 2+ standards and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 4D models by integrating construction schedules with 3D models (Revit/Navisworks/Synchro).
• Collaborate with design teams, BIM coordinators, and planners to ensure accurate sequencing.
• Support the tender process by creating 4D simulations for methodology presentations.
• Develop 2D to 3D models for context, logistics, temporary works and proposed works.
• Provide quantity take offs from 3D models assigned to programme tasks within the 4D model.
• Support project planning with sequencing, phasing strategies, and logistics planning.
• Conduct scenario modelling to assess programme risks and alternative build strategies.
• Provide regular 4D progress updates and reporting for stakeholder engagement.
• Lead 4D planning presentations for internal teams, clients and consultants; liaise between design, planning and site delivery teams.
