Krome Technologies Ltd is seeking a Senior Third Line IT Support Engineer / Technical Consultant to join our skilled team at the HQ in Chertsey. The role involves handling third line escalations, advising on technology solutions, and mentoring junior staff while coordinating with clients and vendors.

Based at our Chertsey HQ with potential travel to London and international client locations, the position requires strong communication skills and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Generalist 3rd Line Technical Support/Consulting experience.
• Client-facing SME proposing technical solutions.
• Solid experience deploying and configuring Windows Server, AD, SQL, Exchange, Azure, Entra-ID, M365, Autopilot, Intune etc.
• Strong TCP/IP networking troubleshooting.
• Experience with Hyper-V and Azure integration, SANs and related tech.
• Backup solutions including Veeam and Azure Backup.
• Palo Alto firewall knowledge.
• Experience leading migrations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior 3rd line IT support and consulting across multiple technologies.
• Liaise with clients and vendor teams to ensure clear communication and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior team members on technical topics and processes.
• Lead and assist with project migrations and complex escalations.
