Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton seeks a 3DX Solution Architect to lead DMU integration within the One PLM program. You will deploy IS/IT tooling supporting aircraft development, lifecycle services, and manufacturing, reporting to the Head of Product.

Focus is on product structure and system installation within our PLM strategy. You will drive architecture framing, collaborate with Technology Specialists, and ensure designs meet enterprise guidelines while enabling international mobility and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in functional architecture, project management or solution engineering.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of IT tools customization, architecture and IT-business alignment.
• Ability to lead a project from start to finish.
• Experience in Design, Manufacturing, Support or related domains is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to End-to-End (E2E) PLM Portfolio within SAFe and help define the Portfolio Roadmap.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable IT requirements and opportunities for transformation.
• Formulate functional and non-functional requirements and advise on the lifecycle of information solutions.
• Deliver framing designs for IT products in collaboration with Technology Specialists and AE guidelines.
• Ensure solutions align with Enterprise Architecture guidelines and are maintainable across teams.
