Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is seeking a 3DX Solution Architect to integrate DMU within the One PLM strategy. You will help deploy harmonized IT tools across product development, industrial setup and lifecycle services, reporting to the Head of Product.

You will contribute to engineering processes for Product Structure and System Installation, enabling a fully validated digital twin and strong collaboration with design teams. This role sits 80% office-based at Filton.

Qualifications

• Proof of experience in functional architecture, project management, solution engineering or another relevant field.
• Customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of IT tools customizing and architecture, IT and business strategy alignment, IT product design and product development, IT business change management.
• Ability to lead a project from start to finish and deliver results.
• Ideally, knowledge in DMU/PLM/Engineering IS/Architecture/Maintenance & Repair.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the End-to-End (E2E) PLM Portfolio within SAFe to help define and execute the Portfolio Roadmap.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable IT requirements and opportunities for transformation.
• Formulate functional and non-functional requirements for information solutions and change impact assessment.
• Deliver framing designs for IT products in collaboration with Technology Specialists, aligned with Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
