Job summary

Trust Systems Ltd in Corsham requires a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to join our client-facing service desk. You will handle complex incidents, manage infrastructure upgrades, and drive improvements across Windows, virtualization, AD, and cloud components.

The role emphasizes strong communication, documentation, and the ability to mentor junior staff. It is an on-site position requiring a valid UK driving licence and BPSS/SC checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tier-3 or senior infrastructure role within an MSP or corporate IT setting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Intune.
• Solid virtualization, storage and cloud environment exposure.

Responsibilities

• Act as final internal escalation point for severe or recurring incidents that 1st/2nd line cannot fix, with root cause analysis.
• Maintain, upgrade, and secure servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and cloud environments.
• Plan, design, and implement technical changes and system migrations.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and document SOPs or knowledge base articles.
• Demonstrate proven history in a senior infrastructure role within MSP or corporate IT.
