Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist SEMH school in Wythenshawe, Manchester. We seek an experienced SEMH Teacher to teach across KS2 to KS4, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils with SEMH needs.

The role is long-term, full-time with an immediate start. You will manage challenging behaviour, create a structured learning environment and collaborate with our dedicated consultants through a smooth onboarding process.

Qualifications

• QTS and SEMH teaching experience required.
• Confident teaching across KS2 to KS4 across multiple subjects.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Are you a qualified SEMH Teacher who is confident teaching across multiple subjects?

Do you have strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour?

Are you adaptable, resilient and confident teaching pupils from Key Stage 2 / KS2 through to Key Stage 4 / KS4?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH school in Wythenshawe. The setting supports pupils across KS2 to KS4 and provides a structured learning environment for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs.

The school is looking to take on an experienced SEMH Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful SEMH Teacher will be expected to teach multiple subjects across KS2 to KS4, deliver engaging lessons and confidently manage challenging behaviour while supporting pupils with a range of SEMH needs.

The successful SEMH Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching pupils with SEMH needs
• Confidence teaching multiple subjects across KS2 to KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience managing challenging behaviour effectively
• A resilient, adaptable and positive approach
