Kids Planet Poynton is hiring a SENDCO Lead to join our nurturing team. You will lead inclusive SEND support, collaborate with families and external agencies, and drive tailored plans to help children thrive in their learning environment.

We value leadership, safeguarding, and strong EYFS knowledge, with opportunities for professional development. The role is based at our Poynton setting with an emphasis on a warm, child-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.
• Thorough knowledge of Ofsted requirements.
• Experience working with children with SEND in partnership with parents and outside agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead SENDCO to engage children with SEND in learning and reach their potential.
• Collaborate with families, staff and external agencies to design tailored support plans.
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued and thrive.
