Job summary

Oasis Academy Blakenhale in Birmingham is seeking a SENDCo to lead inclusion and support pupils with SEND. You will be a classroom practitioner who coaches and inspires staff to meet diverse needs and remove barriers to learning.

As part of Oasis Community Learning, you’ll contribute to shaping an inclusive, enriched curriculum and champion vulnerable learners alongside a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Classroom practitioner with SEND experience.
• Ability to coach and inspire inclusive teaching.
• Commitment to inclusion for vulnerable learners.
• Experience addressing barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning while addressing SEND needs.
• Coach and inspire staff to meet SEND pupils' needs.
• Champion inclusivity across the academy.
• Contribute to developing enrichment and pupil pledge.
