Job summary

Kids Planet Cobham is seeking a SENDCO Lead to drive inclusion and tailored support for children with special educational needs. You will lead SEND initiatives, collaborate with families and external agencies, and ensure compliance with Ofsted and EYFS standards.

Qualifications

• Must be Level 3 UK recognised early years qualification with senior level experience.
• Detailed understanding of Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent EYFS understanding and safeguarding knowledge.
• Experience with children with SEND and working with families/outside agencies.
• Ability to demonstrate multi-agency collaboration and lead staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead in assisting children with SEND to engage in learning and reach potential.
• Collaborate with families, staff and external agencies to design tailored support plans.
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued and can thrive.
