A leading primary school in Birmingham is looking for a qualified SENDCO to join their team part-time starting September 2025. This role requires an experienced professional who is committed to fostering student development and has a proven track record in educational settings.

Qualifications

  • Evidence of successful teaching experience.
  • SEN experience in a Primary school.
  • Evidence of pastoral experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative curriculum based on students' needs.
  • Contribute to the raising of quality in education.
  • Work part time (2 days per week) in a Birmingham Primary school.

Are you a QTS teacher seeking SENDCO role ? Are you an experienced SENCO seeking a part time role ? CPSS are seeking an exceptional, experienced qualified SENDCO. You will work part time (2 days per week) at a successful and welcoming Birmingham Primary school located near to Central Birmingham.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

* QTS (or equivalent) and a good undergraduate degree
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development relevant to the SENCO role or willingness to undertake this training.
* Knowledge and understanding of national priorities, current curriculum development and an ability to design and implement an innovate curriculum based on students' needs
* An appreciation of student motivation
* An understanding of how professional development contributes to the raising of quality
* SEN experience in a Primary school
* Evidence of successful teaching experience
* Evidence of pastoral experience
* Experience of working with key stakeholders such as parents, governors, employers etc
