Job summary

Quantum Scholars is seeking an experienced SEND Tutor to provide personalised one-to-one educational support in Leominster. The role focuses on learners with barriers to mainstream education, including EOTAS or Alternative Provision.

You will adapt teaching to individual academic, emotional and behavioural needs, build trust with learners, collaborate with families and other professionals, and promote safeguarding and positive attitudes toward learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience providing one-to-one educational or tutoring support.
• Ability to adapt teaching and support to individual academic, emotional and behavioural needs.
• A patient, calm, flexible and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised one-to-one educational support to learners with SEND.
• Adapt lessons, resources and teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
• Support learners who may have barriers to accessing mainstream education, including EOTAS/Alternative Provision.
• Monitor progress and provide appropriate feedback.
