Job summary

Targeted Provision seeks experienced SEND Tutors and Teachers in the United Kingdom to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition for SEND and SEMH needs. Roles are self-employed with opportunities to work in person, hybrid or remotely, supported by a dedicated SEND team.

Requirements include 2+ years teaching, QTS or QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and right to work in the UK. You will plan sessions, tailor trauma-informed tutoring, report progress, and collaborate with local authorities and schools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH.
• Familiarity teaching Maths, English, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online, and hybrid tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to develop skills and confidence.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to support vulnerable learners.
