Job summary

Remedy Tutors, part of the Remedy Recruitment Group, are seeking dedicated SEND Tutors to support students across Dudley on a 1:1 basis. Sessions are typically delivered face-to-face in the student's home, with some online tuition available depending on learner needs.

Qualified teachers with SEND experience are encouraged to apply. Roles require reliability, a DBS Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), and a passion for helping vulnerable learners achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• QTS and SEND learners experience are essential.
• Strong knowledge of Maths, English and/or Science for tailoring sessions.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Reliable, professional, and committed to improving outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to the student's individual learning needs.
• Support pupils working towards age-related expectations, GCSEs, Functional Skills, or bespoke educational outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with students to increase engagement and confidence.
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit a range of SEND requirements.
• Provide session feedback and progress updates.

£30 - £35 per hour | Up to 15 hours per week | Flexible Hours | In-Person & Online Opportunities

Remedy Tutors, part of the Remedy Recruitment Group, are seeking dedicated and experienced SEND Tutors to support students across Dudley on a 1:1 basis.

We work with children and young people who may be out of mainstream education, have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), EHCPs, SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, or other barriers to learning. Sessions are typically delivered face-to-face in the student's home, although some tuition may be delivered online depending on the individual learner's needs.
