Job summary

Remedy Tutors, part of the Remedy Recruitment Group, are seeking dedicated SEND Tutors to support students in Cheltenham on a 1:1 basis. Sessions are delivered face-to-face in the student's home, with online options depending on individual needs.

Requirements include QTS and experience with SEND learners; strong Maths/English/Science knowledge; DBS on Update Service (or willingness to obtain). Roles offer up to 15 hours per week and flexible hours.

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English and/or Science
• Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to the student's learning needs
• Support pupils towards age-related expectations, GCSEs, Functional Skills, or bespoke outcomes
• Build positive relationships to increase engagement and confidence
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit a range of SEND requirements
• Provide session feedback and progress updates

Remedy Tutors, part of the Remedy Recruitment Group, are seeking dedicated and experienced SEND Tutors to support students across Dudley on a 1:1 basis.

We work with children and young people who may be out of mainstream education, have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), EHCPs, SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, or other barriers to learning. Sessions are typically delivered face-to-face in the student's home, although some tuition may be delivered online depending on the individual learner's needs.
