Job summary

SENse Learning is recruiting SEND Tutors to deliver bespoke, trauma-informed tutoring at home or in the community across the UK. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid sessions with students from KS1 to KS5, tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments.

Job description

  • Develop strong relationships with children and young people who have a range of needs and who have often experienced significant difficulties in previous education settings.
  • Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid support to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs.
  • Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to the young persons needs, EHCP, and risk assessment.
  • Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.

Set within the students' homes and out in the community, our learning packages meet the needs of the individual students, enabling them to succeed and learn via a trauma-informed approach.

  • This position involves engaging with us as a self-employer tutor / teacher
  • We providing guidance / signposting on accessing resources to register as self-employed if you are not registered already
  • This is not a PAYE position
