Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND in classroom and one-to-one settings.
• Assist the class teacher with differentiated learning activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
• Help create an inclusive and structured learning environment.
• Collaborate with SENCO and support staff to implement plans.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour to staff.
• Support pupils during transitions and break times.

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs in both classroom and one-to-one settings
• Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities

• Work closely with the SENCO and other support staff to implement individual education plans
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour to teaching staff
