Job summary

Rising Hope Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEN school in East London, starting September. You will support primary pupils (Year 2) with autism and communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs, helping them access learning.

You will work alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals in a dedicated SEN environment, focusing on communication, regulation and everyday independence skills across the day.

Rising Hope Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in East London from September, working with primary-aged pupils within a Year 2 class.

You'll be supporting children with a range of additional needs, including autism and communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs.

For some children, communicating what they want, need or feel can be incredibly difficult.

That's why we're looking for somebody who doesn't simply react to behaviour but is curious enough to understand what the child might be trying to communicate.
