Previous SEND experience is desirable, with openness to candidates from care, support work, youth work, psychology or related backgrounds who show resilience and the right values.

Rising Hope Education is looking for a Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary-aged class within a specialist SEN setting in East London.
The pupils you’ll support have a variety of additional needs, and successful support relies heavily on relationships, communication, consistency and emotional regulation.
There may be occasions when a child becomes dysregulated or struggles to communicate what they’re feeling.
When that happens, we need somebody who can remain calm, predictable and compassionate.
Someone who doesn’t take behaviour personally.
Someone who can reset tomorrow and greet that child with exactly the same warmth they did today.
You’ll Help Pupils To
Previous SEND experience would be fantastic, particularly within autism, complex needs or communication.
However, we’d also welcome strong candidates from care, support work, youth work, psychology or similar backgrounds who have the right values and resilience.
