Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs in SEND settings around Walsall and surrounding areas. The role offers daily pay and opportunities to transfer care experience into a school environment.

Start date ASAP with temporary contracts and potential ongoing opportunities. You do not need prior classroom experience; a person-centred approach, patience and a calm, supportive manner are valued to help pupils access learning,

Qualifications

• Transferable care experience is highly valuable for education roles.
• Patience, resilience and good communication are essential.
• Willingness to follow safeguarding procedures and school policies.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with classroom learning and practical activities.
• Build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Encourage communication, social interaction and independence.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support as needed.
• Help pupils manage emotions and engage with learning.
• Support pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.
• Assist with personal care and mobility where required.
