Connex Education Partnership is seeking enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to support students aged 11-16 in a large secondary school in Wythenshawe. You will deliver in-class support and small group interventions to help learners access the curriculum and reach their potential.

Roles are full-time or part-time (3–5 days), Monday to Friday. The package includes competitive pay, full training, weekly PAYE, and ongoing professional development with a clear progression pathway.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
• Experience working with young people with SEND (professional or voluntary).
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt learning materials and ensure lessons are accessible.
• Support students’ emotional and social development, helping them build confidence.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and contribute to EHCPs.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance SEND expertise.
