The Education Network is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a large secondary school in Walsall. You will support students with SEND, work 1-2-1 and in small groups, and assist in the SEND hub to ensure every child can access learning.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have SEND experience. DBS clearance is required to start, with an immediate start and access to ongoing professional development within a supportive team.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting students with additional needs in a school setting.
• Ability to work 1-2-1 and in small groups.
• DBS clearance required to start and ongoing safeguarding checks.

Responsabilidades

• Support students with additional needs on a 1-2-1 and whole class basis.
• Have a good understanding of a range of additional needs.
• Work as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant in a secondary school.
• Support students in the SEND hub when they are unable to attend lessons.
• Assist with communication and behaviour management to remove barriers to learning.
