Job summary

The Education Network Birmingham is seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a large primary school in Walsall. You will support learning across the primary age range and may work in the SEND Hub providing tailored support.

You will collaborate with teachers and SEND staff to help pupils engage, make progress and develop confidence. A patient, adaptable approach and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification confirmed.
  • Experience in a primary school setting.
  • Ability to provide classroom and SEND support.
  • Patient, adaptable and positive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support across the primary age range.
  • Work alongside the class teacher to support learning and engagement.
  • Provide 1-2-1 and small-group support where required.
  • Support pupils within the dedicated SEND Hub.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and personalised support.
  • Adapt your approach to meet individual learning and SEND needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Support positive behaviour and classroom routines.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEND professionals.
  • Help create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment.
