SEND Teaching Assistant (Part Time, Temporary)
Northumberland, Ashington area
£273.60 - £290 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
June 2025 – July 2026
The School and Role
We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a large primary school in Northumberland. This would be based in the Ashington area. Within this role you would be working as part of an established team in Key Stage 1. The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting a group of children with autistic traits across both Year 1 and Year 2. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 12:30pm. Pupils who attend this school make excellent progress due to the outstanding quality of teaching and children feel very well supported and comfortable to share their ideas within the classroom.
