Job summary

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Ability to work with teachers to support pupils' progress and personal development.
• Commitment to inclusion and nurturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Satisfactory references, DBS check, medical clearance, qualification verification, and right to work in the UK evidences.

• Supporting pupils with SEND, individually and in small groups, to engage confidently in their learning.
• Working alongside teachers to support pupils' progress, attainment and personal development.
• Encouraging independence, self-esteem and positive social interaction.
• Adapting learning activities and support to meet individual needs.
• Helping to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels supported and valued.
• Recognising and celebrating pupils' progress, however big or small.
• Has a caring and supportive approach to working with children with additional needs.
• Can build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Is adaptable, approachable and able to respond to the different needs of individual pupils.
• Works well as part of a team and is willing to learn and develop.
