Job summary

Anglian Learning is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join the SEND team at Sawston Village College. You will support pupils with SEND and other vulnerabilities in mainstream and Compass House, helping them access learning and achieve their potential.

The role offers flexible working discussions; you will collaborate with staff, carers, and the wider college community, with safeguarding at the core of your duties.

Qualifications

• Experience with young people in education setting
• Support pupils with SEND and other identified vulnerabilities
• Build positive relationships with young people
• Safeguarding and child protection knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support for pupils who may have SEND or other vulnerabilities to access learning and progress
• Support pupils in mainstream classrooms and through Compass House inclusion provision
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the College
• Collaborate with SEND team to monitor pupil progress
