Job summary

St Mary's Bluecoat CE Primary School in Shropshire is seeking a SEND teaching assistant to support pupils with SEND within the school's SEND team. The role runs to 31 August 2027 in the first instance and starts as soon as possible.

Visa sponsorship is not available. The successful candidate will have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience with SEND in a primary or specialist setting, plus an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEND in a primary school or specialist provision.
• Enhanced DBS check including Barred List check.
• Completion of a confidential medical questionnaire.
• Patience and a warm, friendly attitude.
• Determination to succeed through challenging situations on a daily basis.
