Job summary

St Mary’s Bluecoat CE Primary School is inviting applications for a SEND Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term contract (to 31/08/2027). The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (6 hours a day), based at the school in Bridgnorth. Successful candidates will join our team of SEND teaching assistants and may support in the SEND Hub.

They should have a Level 2 TA qualification and experience with SEND. We offer CPD opportunities and a collaborative leadership team, with a warm, supportive staff

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEND in a primary school setting or specialist provision.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Patience, warmth and determination to succeed in challenging situations daily.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with SEND in a primary setting and assist teaching staff.
• Potentially support in the SEND Hub as required.
