Job Requirements:

The Governors of Norwood Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with SEND pupils on a 1-1 basis or in groups. The full-time role is 30 hours per week; part-time hours will be confirmed.

This is a fixed-term post (initially) dependent on SEND funding for the designated children.

Candidate Qualities:

• Interest or experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• Experience working with children in a school setting
• High level of patience
• Ability to work as part of a team alongside the class teacher and other support staff
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and self-motivated
• Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and organize
