Job summary

Greenacres Primary Academy is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support individual pupils or small groups, helping them access the curriculum and achieve personalised targets.

You will work within the Sycamore room (EPS) to assist children with speech, language, communication needs and autism, alongside a team of teachers and assistants. The role focuses on inclusion, progress, and positive engagement in education.

Qualifications

• Support individual pupils or small groups to reach goals.
• Assist with bespoke curriculum and personal care in the EPS.
• Implement behaviour plans and IEPs as required.

Join Us as an SEN Teaching Assistant at Greenacres Primary Academy: Every day is a chance to make a real difference! As part of our team, you’ll be supporting individual pupils or small groups, helping them shine and reach their full potential. Whether it’s through tailored teaching strategies, behaviour plans, or Individual Education Plans, you’ll be right there, cheering them on and guiding their progress in our specially designed Education Provision Space.

Our Sycamore room (EPS) is a specially designed purpose-built classroom and sensory base for children with speech, language and communication needs and autism. You will join our expert team of teachers and teaching assistants to assist our children to be able to access their bespoke curriculum and attend to their personal care.

You’ll help all our pupils feel included, confident, and excited to take part in school life and access their own version of the national curriculum in a way that works for them. With your great communication skills and positive energy, you’ll inspire, support, and bring out the very best in every child you work with.
